Let it snow!
I love snow! And I love how it turns me into a little kid bursting with excitement and eagerness to play with it…
“Bloudan (Arabic: بلودان) is a Syrian town located 51 kilometers north-west of the Damascus Governorate, in the Rif Dimashq Governorate and has an altitude of about 1500 meters. Bloudan is situated on top of a hill that overlooks the Zabadani plain and is surrounded by mountain forests.
Its moderate temperature and low humidity in summer attracts many visitors from Damascus and throughout Syria. It is also a major touristic destination, it is visited by thousands every year, mainly Arabs from Lebanon and the Arab Gulf. In winter, Bloudan is usually snowy, and as a result receives many skiers.”

One funny thing I noticed is that Syrians have a habit of making little snowmen and placing them on their car bonnet or trunk and some simply put a random pile of snow on their car roof just before driving back to downtown Damascus where it rarely ever snows.
